Dr. Jocelyn Knox was born in raised in Huntsville Ontario. After completing her undergraduate education in Guelph University and her Chiropractic post-graduate education in Minneapolis Minnesota she returned home to set up her practice. 10 years and 3 lovely energetic boys later she sold her thriving practice to a colleague but maintains 2 days a week in the same practice, and 3 days a week to work on animals in the field.
In 2005 Dr. Knox took the extensive Animal Chiropractic course in Dallas Texas for 6 months and then proceeded to Oklahoma to write the American Veterinary Chiropractic Associations exams. As of yet, Canada does not have an association. Every Chiropractor in practice is often asked if they work on animals for either a current patient or someone they know. Some do, some don’t. Dr. Knox has always worked with animals however she felt that to be truly qualified she should have her AVCA certification so she undertook the program to obtain this. Now that she is finished and fully certified she maintains her positive outlook to aid not only the people she connects with but also the animals which make our lives so pleasurable.
